Welcome to the Friends of Lethbridge 100 Club!
That sounds interesting, what is it?
The Friends of Lethbridge 100 Club is a fundraising scheme we started running in February 2018 and
which has already raised £200 for the school and given out the same amount in prize money! The idea
is that you pay to join a monthly prize draw with 50% of the winnings going to one winner each month
and 50% going to the school to provide equipment, resources and opportunities for our children
which the school's own budget just doesn't stretch to.
Why is it called the 100 Club?
We are hoping that we will get 100 entries signed up into our monthly draw creating a prize pot of
£50 which we think would be well worth winning. Obviously though, the more people that sign up,
the bigger the prize pot and ultimately, more funds we raise for the school to be spent on our
children.
We're certainly not limiting it to 100 entries... the more the merrier!
So how does it work?
You complete and sign the attached
FoL 100 Club Sign Up Form and enclose cash or a cheque (made
payable to Friends of Lethbridge) for £10 which covers entry from October 2018 to July 2019 (£1 a
month).
You will need to put your completed
Sign Up Form and payment in an enveloped marked "FOL 100
Club" in the Friends of Lethbridge black postbox which is just inside the door of the school reception
office on the left hand side.
This buys you one number (we will allocate), which enters you into the monthly draw.
You can increase your chances of winning by buying more than one number (no need to write a
separate cheque for each entry).
The draw will take place on, or as close to, the last Friday of each month, we've had to jiggle it a little
bit due to school holidays but exact dates are listed in the FOL 100 Club Rules.
Can anyone play?
Yes so long as they are over 16. So by all means invite friends and family to join in the fun.
I think 2018/19 will be my lucky year, so what happens if I win?
We have our fingers crossed for you! The prize money will be 50% of the total taken that month and
will be paid by cheque to you and will be available to collect from the school office just after the draw
is made.
OK it sounds great, so what do I need to do now?
Print off and complete the
FoL 100 Club Sign Up Form.
Put the form along with the correct payment into a envelope marked "FoL 100 Club".
Post your envelope into the FoL Post Box in the school office before the cut off at 12 noon on Friday
19th October 2018.
Encourage friends and family to do the same.
